Did you try running "Update Table" again? Also, you might try removing the Fink Commander preferences fie ( in Library/Preferences/com.sburrious.finkcommander.plist under your home directory).

OK. Now see if you can do "Binary->Update Descriptions". Also, I just remembered that someone else had a similar problem, and they needed to run "Update Table" to see the new packages--for some reason this wasn't done automatically.
