This file has called me more grief then I dont know what :( I deleted it on purpose because i couldnt get any new apps to show up in my Apple X11 Applications menu. I then installed Xfree86 4.4 from the fink unstable but it didnt make a new .xinitrc file when it was installed. So now I have Xfree86 installed but no .xinitrc file to edit to make it show my apps. I also reinstalled Apple's X11 to see if that would make a .xinitrc file but no such luck. Do I need this file to run fink apps? Both X11's seem to start up just fine and the apple ones stil shows the apps that came with it. Do I need to reinstall OS X?
