I'm putting this out there again since it seems similar to the tetex issue that Martin has been working on. This in reference to my trying to update kde and getting:
/usr/bin/install -d -m 755 /sw/src/root-kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3
/bin/mv /sw/src/root-kdebase3-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3/*randr*.so /sw/src/root-kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3/
/bin/mv: rename /sw/src/root-kdebase3-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3/*randr*.so to /sw/src/root-kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3//*randr*.so: No such file or directory
### execution of /bin/mv failed, exit code 1
Failed: installing kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11 failed
Thanks for any help,

for some reason the randr stuff is just not getting built -- first suspect is usually X11, but you've reinstalled. If you haven't rebooted, tar up the contents of /tmp/buildlog and send it to me (privately, not on the list), otherwise, attempt another build and then send me the contents of /tmp/buildlog =)

I don't really know what else to try other than seeing what kde thinks it's getting.
