Sorry to be unhelpful but I can't find a version. Version in info says "X11". It was beta when I downloaded it and the new version is for panther only so......
well, if you're on 10.2 the panther one won't work. The Apple X11 beta is 4.2, so yes, I would say you're probably missing something. Do you still have the installers for the X11User and X11SDK packages? They're not available on Apple's site anymore, and are not legally distributable, so if your X11 is messed up and you don't have those, your only real recourse is to remove X11 completely and install XDarwin (either through Fink, or I would suggest the 4.4 packages from X's site).
