Still not working with DevSDK, even after reboot; got the same error in the config.log

Here is my dilemma:
I'm trying to get a working xemacs for use in Gnome. I can't even get Emacs to open in
X11 Gnome.

Here are the errors I recieve upon starting Gnome:
XFree86 Version 4.3.0 / X Window System
(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6600)

Gnome-Message: gnome_execute_async_with_env_fds: returning -1

Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_signal_disconnect_by_data(): could not find handler containing data (0x11600F0)

This is the error when I try to start Emacs in Gnome:
GStC-WARNING **: gstc_parent_restack_child(): can't restack unknown window 87

What I hoped to accomplish is getting xemacs installed from the source so I might be able to
use it. Instead I get the previously mentioned gcc3.3 errors.

My problem is when I use emacs via the OS X terminal program I can't get the menus to work,
and I'm used to using xemacs syntactically.

Any help is much appreciated....(esp. thanks to Alexander Hansen for his current efforts.)

Got it--you need to install the DevSDK package from XCode.
