I have a slow connection at home, where fink[commander] will work out which files it needs to get.
But I have a fast connection at work from (ugh!) Windows XP. So, how do I find the necessary files on sourceforge, I don't understand the structure of the directories, fink seems to use something like Get:4 http://us.dl.sourceforge.net 10.2-gcc3.3/release/main glib- shlibs 1.2.10-8 [164kB] which doesn't seem to be a directory I can find through Internet explorer. Second, is there any way I can identify the files I need for the different dependencies for the package I am trying to install, or should I just note them all down when I do a fink binary install and get them individually? thanks, Tim. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
