The fact that it won't build is a big problem. It means that the

gnomemeeting is "next".
How do you disable a package?

Yes, this package is broken and has been for quite a while. Did you
try to contact the maintainer? I don't know if he is still around.
Here is what I wrote on the same subject 2 months ago to someone who
had sent a more complete build log (it's the same error you are
seeing):
"It is this -DGTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED that makes that the symbols are
undefined. This should not be there, at least not with the version of
gtk+2 that we have right now."
"I agree with you that this package is rotten and should be updated.
It Source field points into empty space, too."
gnomemeeting.cpp: In member function `void GnomeMeeting::Connect()':
gnomemeeting.cpp:176: `GTK_COMBO' undeclared (first use this function)
gnomemeeting.cpp:176: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only
once for
each function it appears in.)
gnomemeeting.cpp: In member function `void GnomeMeeting::BuildGUI()':
gnomemeeting.cpp:479: `gtk_timeout_add' undeclared (first use this
function)
make[2]: *** [gnomemeeting.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
### execution of make failed, exit code 2
Failed: compiling gnomemeeting-0.98.0-11 failed
There was another thread on this 2 weeks ago where the conclusion was
also that the package does not build.
