Alex,

Thanks for your response.  I fixed the dfont problem with xpdf.  Now, I have to fix the same problem with kpdf.  I looked at kpdf.kcfg and other files related to kpdf but I have not seen any files that tells the location of dfonts to kpdf.  Really appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks.

Aki

Hi,

Both xpdf and Kpdf complains that several display fonts are missing as following;

Error: No display font for 'Courier-Bold'
Error: No display font for 'Courier-BoldOblique'
Error: No display font for 'Courier-Oblique'
Error: No display font for 'Helvetica'
Error: No display font for 'Helvetica-Bold'
Error: No display font for 'Helvetica-BoldOblique'
Error: No display font for 'Helvetica-Oblique'
Error: No display font for 'Symbol'
Error: No display font for 'Times-Bold'
Error: No display font for 'Times-BoldItalic'
Error: No display font for 'Times-Italic'
Error: No display font for 'Times-Roman'
Error: No display font for 'ZapfDingbats'

I have located a few of missing dfonts but am not sure where to copy those dfonts sot that xpdf and kpdf will see them.  I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance.

Apparently this is deliberately done upstream.  Check out the beginning of /sw/etc/xpdfrc.
