Hi folks,
I was doing an update all this evening and everything compiled
except vte.
I tried moving /usr/local out of the way, same problem.
I am running a G4 Powerbook 867 mHz, OSX 10.4.2, Fink package
manager 0.24.7, Distribution version 0.8.0
The end of the installation log is:
gcc -o .libs/vte-scan .libs/vte-scan.o -L/sw/lib -L/sw/lib/
fontconfig2/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib ../../src/.libs/libvte.dylib /sw/lib/

I checked for the missing file, and sure enough, there is only an
alias to libfontconfig.dylib at the end of that path.
The original is not finable from the alias, so I don't know if it was
never installed, or was removed mistakenly; I haven't been fooling
around in /sw so I don't think there was an explicit deletion.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Warren Gallin
