Title: Upgrade to 10.4 problem
I recently upgraded to 10.4 / 10.4.3 without considering Fink installations.
I now find that I cannot compile using g77;
g77: installation problem, cannot exec `c++filt': No such file or directory
and with FinkCommander, that my GNU Fortran compiler is out of date;
flagged status name installed latest category summary
NO outdated g77 3.4.1-1 3.4.3-2 languages GNU Fortran compiler
My Fink version is;
% fink --version
Package manager version: 0.24.10
Distribution version: 0.7.2.rsync
trying to update g77 with FinkCommander generates;
.......
xgcc: installation problem, cannot exec `c++filt': No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [genmodes] Error 1
make[1]: *** [stageprofile_build] Error 2
make: *** [profiledbootstrap] Error 2

I checked the fink.sourceforge notes on upgrading and find I violated the instructions by going to 10.4.3 before updating Fink / removing old Developer Tools / ....several more steps.
What options do I have to get back a functioning Fink system? I assume there’s more to it than just installing Fink 0.8.0.
Thanks,
Jerel
