I don't know what this means. Any advice would be appreciated.
It means that you don't have the file config.h mentioned in that
error message. This file is usually installed by the BSDSDK.pkg
which is on your system disk in the Xcode tools part. If you
installed a recent Xcode update, like the current version 2.2.1,
then it is on the Xcode disk image. It is possible that this is an
optional installation, that is, when you install the Xcode tools,
you have to switch it on in the "personalize" screen. I would
generally recommend to switch on *every* optional package in the
Xcode installation.

Thanks. I am not even sure that I have that installed anymore as to
install the latest version of Fink, I had to sudo rm -rf /sw
It really is irritating that Apple won't provide the Xcode tools with
the normal install, when you have to have them to use Fink. I can
remember that I got the tools originally from an Apple developer web
site, but as I don't develop, I can't remember where you get this
stuff. Do you have a URL handy?
Cheers,
Brian
