Dear List, I have been using fink for a long time now in complete ignorance of what I am doing so far it has "just worked". I recently tried "update-all" after I noticed serious problems with my version of gv. This fails due to a dependency error I do not understand (full script below):
fink update-all Information about 2317 packages read in 2 seconds. ... ... Failed: Can't resolve dependency "xml-parser-pm581" for package "intltool-0.30-5" (no matching packages/versions found) (I was able to update gv to the latest version but it still chokes on my pdf file which xpdf and gs can both work with fine). Any idea what this means or what I need to do to fix it? my install is seriously out of date...
