| i've perused the achives and don't see anything that's resolved this for me. i have the latest fink, x11 and ethereal installed on 10.4.5 if i run 'ethereal' via Terminal, i get this error: (ethereal:25518): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: i saw one posting mentioning running "setenv DISPLAY 0.0" and i did that but got an error "command not found"... "man setenv" works but it mentions nothing about 'display' as an option. if i run ethereal from an x11 term i get this error: -------------------------------------------------------- (ethereal:25524): GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: Can not open pixbuf loader module file '/sw/etc/gtk-2.0/gdk- pixbuf.loaders': No such file or directory (ethereal:25524): GdkPixbuf-WARNING **: Error loading XPM image loader: Image type 'xpm' is not supp orted (ethereal:25524): Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkpixbuf-render.c: line 293 (gdk_pixbuf_render_pixmap_and_m ask_for_colormap): assertion `GDK_IS_PIXBUF (pixbuf)' failed ** (ethereal:25524): WARNING **: No builtin or dynamically loaded modules were found.
