this question is perhaps out of topic, because it is not directly
related to fink. I used the command "locate" to find things in Linux,
but in Mac the locate database is not updated automatically.
I'm asking this question here because I think locate belongs to
the default programs which get installed with fink, as I could use
locate
only after I installed fink.
Anyway, after changing anything in the system, I have to run manually
$ sudo /usr/libexec/locate.updatedb
which takes very long. Does somebody know any possibility
to update the database incrementally?
