[Fink-beginners] again: gcc-problems while installing silc

I just tried again to install silc-client. Before I updated fink, all packages and I installed dev-tools from apple. Still, there seems to be some problem with gcc I didn't resolve, because it says: checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables I couldn't find a "config.log" at my system, which means spotlight didn't find one and in the library/logs is none.
