Hi,
I recently installed xorg with fink in replacement of xfree86 but I
have a problem of configuration for xorg.
Typing startx in the terminal as root will launch the xorg version of
xdarwin (X Version 11 6.8.2) but as user it will launch the xfree86
version of xdarwin (XFree86 4.5.0).
Is that usual? Also, after installing xorg, I doesn't have any
xorg.conf file. Trying to create one with the comand "x -configure"
will fail with this error message:

-keymap <file> : read the keymapping from a file instead of the kernel.
-version : show the server version.
Quartz modes:
-fullscreen : run full screen in parallel with Mac OS X window server.
-rootless : run rootless inside Mac OS X window server.
-quartz : use default Mac OS X window server mode
Options ignored in rootless mode:
-size <height> <width> : use a screen resolution of <height> x <width>.
-depth <8,15,24> : use this bit depth.
-refresh <rate> : use a monitor refresh rate of <rate> Hz.
Fatal server error:
Unrecognized option: -configure

Xorg doesn't seems to be well configured and I cannot set the
transparency of the windows on kde.
Can anyone help?
