Hi, I have already installed fink on my powerbook G4 Mac OS X 10.4, with a bunch of packages (kde, openoffice,...) and I was wondering if I can simply transfer the /sw directory to my other computer (ibook G4 Mac OS X 10.4) directly, in order to avoid having to recompile everything.
I guess it is better to first install fink properly, and then replace the ibook's /sw directory by the powerbook's one, if possible. This would probably work if all the files are realy in the /sw directory... (am I right?) Does fink install anything outside /sw or not ? Is there any other file in the system that fink modifies ?
