Hi,

I just did a self update. Now I trying to do a update-all I get this
message:
--
checking for x86 platform... no
checking for freetype-config... /usr/bin/freetype-config
configure: error: Xft Pango backend found but did not find freetype
libraries
### execution of ./configure failed, exit code 1

(Reading database ... 72729 files and directories currently installed.)
Removing fink-buildlock-gtk+2-2.6.10-1 ...
Failed: phase compiling: gtk+2-2.6.10-1 failed

Before reporting any errors, please run "fink selfupdate" and
try again. If you continue to have issues, please check to see if the
FAQ on fink's website solves the problem. If not, ask on the fink-users
or fink-beginners mailing lists. As a last resort, you can try
e-mailing
the maintainer directly:

In the FAQ I read that if my error message looked something like :
--
checking for freetype-config.../usr/X11R6/bin/freetype-config
checking For sufficiently new FreeType (at least 2.0.1)... no
configure: error: pangoxft
Pango backend found but did not find freetype libraries
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
### execution of LD_TWOLEVEL_NAMESPACE=1 failed, exit code 2
Failed: compiling gtk+2-2.2.4-2 failed
--
(it looks kinda like this) I should run this command: fink remove
freetype freetype-hinting. This I did, but then I get the message:
--
Information about 5986 packages read in 12 seconds.
WARNING: freetype is not installed, skipping.
WARNING: freetype-hinting is not installed, skipping.
Nothing removed
--
So the freetype conflict obviously isn't the problem. How do I proceed?
After I got the error message I did NOT do a selfupdate again because I
had just done one. I'm running a PPC 10.3.9.

Thanks
Adriaan
