| The latest version of ImageMagick offered to my Intel Mac in both the stable and unstable release is 6.1.8. This is not current enough for a program I have installed. In order to install this other program, I removed 6.1.8 and installed the latest from the ImageMagick web site, 6.2.9. I installed my program and everything is happy. But since then I noticed a bunch of fink-installed programs were out-of-date and did an update-all. The problem is that fink decided to re-install version 6.1.8. Is there a way to prevent this from happening until the fink offering catches up with the version I have installed? -- Chip |
