If I may make a suggestion:
It's better to use /sw/fink/10.4/local/main for locally modified files to
prevent official updates from the project from overwriting your work.
The simplest way to do this is make sure you have
/sw/fink/10.4/local/main/finkinfo
(you may have to create the finkinfo directory yourself)
and that local/main is present on the Trees line of /sw/etc/fink.conf, and
comes -after- the stable and unstable tree references.
Then you can copy the files as above.
