It seems that green is what was intended. You can start the program  
with the argument -c. That will make the text black. I guess you are  
supposed to operate it with a dark (black) background to simulate the  
green phosphorus monochrome monitors we had years ago. Someone else  
must explain how to do that.  The online documentation is at:
