Hi I am trying to get gnucash 2 (Vers. 2.0.2-2) to run. First I needed to update to the newest version of X11 (included in the Xcode Tools) Then there are a bunch of dependencies, which would not want to be resolved when running Fink commander. I was able to get those installed seperately. But still got the message below. I addintionally installed GCC 4 (which first showed a very similar message, but after Fink self update I was able to get the binary, which installed). Did not change anything. So I am posting the last lines of the terminal message and hope someone tells me, what the problem might be (or even the solution):
... checking for strip... /usr/bin/strip checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking for cc... cc checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables See `config.log' for more details. ### execution of /var/tmp/tmp.0.VWYXci failed, exit code 77 Removing runtime build-lock... ... Thanks, Michael PS: I searched for config.log but could not find it.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
