Hi NG! I have just installed Fink on my MBP and have set the proxy to the work proxy as per every other application I use but for some reason when I try to update the descriptions I get the following error:
Err http://bindist.finkmirrors.net 10.4/release/main Packages Could not connect to bindist.finkmirrors.net:80 (213.84.134.230). - connect (60 Operation timed out) This looks as if it is not getting through our proxy and I was wondering if there are other settings other than fink configure that I can try ? regards, Mikey P.S.
