Hi Since last week I experience troubles with inconsistent dependencies again. This time the packeges causing problems are
esound-bin esound-common esound-shlibd (all updated from 0.2.35-8 to 0.2.36-1) docbook-utils (newly installed) and again system-tetex. I am wondering that I am possibly the only one here who discovers such problems since I did not see any messages about this problem. Is this again due incomplete migration from the unstable to the stable tree, and I should simply wait for the remaining packages to be migrated? What is system-tetex exactly used for? What does "placeholder package" mean exactly? It seems that it can never be installed if there is an existing tetex installation (at least on my computer), und therefore the occurrence of system-tetex in the list of packages to be installed/updated seems to be a safe indicator for trouble with dependencies.
