Is that really a _space_ in the path on the last line, after "/usr/
X11R6"?? I doubt it, but that would explain a lot...
Just to clarify some parameters:
You're on a G5, right?
What do you get from "gcc --version" (to make sure you have the
latest Developer Tools installed)?
Can you run X11, e.g. open an Xterm?
