I upgraded to Leopard, and most of the fink packages require Xfree86. But Leopard has X11 installed. So how do I get anything to compile? Thanks, Jim Rome
Jim, Do you have "system-xfree86" installed?I've had no problem with Leopard and Fink since I began using it a week ago. However, I had the placeholder package for x11 (system- xfree86) installed under Tiger. It remains installed now. If you don't have it, perhaps all you need to do is "fink install system-xfree86"?
