Not quite. The system-xfree86* packages are, just like xfree86-base*, 
x11 and x11-dev, virtual packages. This means they show up as installed 
as soon as you have the corresponding files installed on your system, 
either by installing Apple's X11 or from some other X11 installation.

Run "fink info system-xfree86" for some explanation. Or indeed try "fink 
install system-xfree86"; it will either say it is already installed, or 
it will explain that it cannot be installed like this.

So the only thing you have to do is to make sure that you have both of 
Apple's x11 componenents installed, the X11User.pkg that gets installed 
by default on Leopard, and the X11SDK package that gets installed with 
the Xcode developer tools.
