No, no. Xcode 3.1 is part of the iPhone SDK, and it is the one that has 
the multiply-defined-symbols bug, at least in its first version, 
ld64-82.5. The later update ld64-83.2 is said to no longer have this 
bug, just as the stock Leopard ld64-77 which you have. At least, that's 
what I believed so far.

Now it seems that in the case of digikam, every version of Leopard ld 
shows this problem, so it must be a slightly different problem from what 
was observed earlier. Maybe digikam can be convinced not to include the 
same object file in two different static archives...
