That's outside of Fink, so I can't speak to what should happen there.

All I can say is that psync works for me under sudo when I use the
either the system's Perl or fink's perl586 (using the appropriate
macos-file-pm58X-bin -> psync executable, of course) and feed it
PERL5LIB as I indicated.
