Well, there's always installing from source and getting more help from configure and make's output, if required. I'm running Geomview 1.9.4 happily on Mac OS X Leopard. Fink can be installed, but is not required.
The instructions I wrote for installing Geomview from source on the Mac on: http://www.geomview.org/download/ should be straightforward to follow - please let me know if they're not. (Dave, does your package of Geomview work with OpenGL? That Leopard linker bug's a pain. Bit puzzled by http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/geomview describing 1.9.4 as 'unstable'.) L.
