"unstable" here only is supposed to mean "recently added to Fink, and
potentially missing dependencies" (that's the theory, anyway).  Our
"unstable" designation doesn't necessarily have any coupling to how a
project's developers view a release.

I'm assuming that one can bootstrap Fink on a system without the .la
files and have it work.
