I wouldn't assume that. Sending patches inline in email is the absolutely worst way to try to get something in Fink. Copying and pasting from mail clients frequently introduces control characters which can cause the the patch to fail. In any case, this means somebody has has to go through and edit the patch before we can use it, and our developers are busy people.
Send me the thing as an attachment, and I'll see about it.
