Running
source /sw/bin/init.sh
(assuming you're using the bash shell) at the terminal will read in
Fink's environment, but you shouldn't have to do that every time.
Try running
/sw/bin/pathsetup.sh
and see if it either sets things up properly, or gives you an error message. I
don't recall if the bootstrap runs that or not.
