I've just experienced the exact same problem James Rome had a few
weeks ago. What I now have on my system is as follows:

| $ fink list --installed svn
| i svn 1.6.5-1 Subversion - svnserve, tools
| i svn-client 1.6.5-1 Subversion - Client
| i svn-doc 1.6.5-1 Subversion - Documentation
| p svn-pm588 [virtual package]
| (i) svn-shlibs 1.4.6-14 Subversion - Shared libraries
| i svn15-shlibs 1.6.5-1 Subversion - Shared libraries
| $

Am I correct that even though svn-shlibs is not building properly,
the installed svn will use svn15-shlibs, so I can just summarily toss
svn-shlibs w/o fear?

I.e., I should issue `fink purge svn-shlibs` (or the FinkCommander
equivalent), and go on with my life, yes?

Thanks.
