We probably don't want to turn logging on by default, because of the
potential for filling up people's hard drives without their knowledge,
but it would probably be a good idea to suggest in the package failure
text that they retry the build with logging turned on--maybe it could be
set to do that if logging were off, and if logging were on it could tell
the user where the log is.
We could automatically include the output that goes into "fink -V | head
- -n2" and tell people to include that.

Also:  Fink Commander (recently updated) provides a decent amount of
system information.  Maybe having a better log interface there would be
helpful.
