Nope. You can't run programs compiled for Linux on OS X; at least not without using an emulator like VMMware or VirtualBox. And you can't install arbitrary packages using Fink. The package has to be in the Fink distribution, which generally means that it has to be built from source. - -- Alexander Hansen Fink User Liaison -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkxgklUACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ8M8gCfXTkqcr54yOxynfQbTLjjPP8Q X/sAn3d+ubgtFqN50ZsfpLSjCqzEx/G2 =tV7q -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Make an app they can't live without Enter the BlackBerry Developer Challenge http://p.sf.net/sfu/RIM-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [email protected] http://news.gmane.org/gmane.os.apple.fink.beginners
