Removing Fink shouldn't be necessary. You just have a relatively minor package glitch. What exactly do you mean by "the same error", since you quoted two separate errors? If you're referring to autoconf2.6, try not using apt-get, but instead use "fink install autoconf2.6". You may find that "update-all" keeps breaking down, because you have a relatively large list of packages to update and they'll require swapping of some build dependencies. In that case, you can get to the same place by updating individual packages.
