CVS is back up. Check if you can use selfupdate-cvs now. cvs-proxy doesn't work anymore, according to reports. The current version of cvs (1.12.13) has HTTP proxy support built in, however. If you can't update through your firewall just using cvs, there are a couple of patches that should implement the built-in proxy support in Fink. Download CVS.pm from http://fink.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/fink/experimental/alexkhansen/3rdparty/fink/perlmod/Fink/SelfUpdate/CVS.pm?revision=1.1 and replace /sw/lib/perl5/Fink/SelfUpdate/CVS.pm with the new file.
