Hi,

I find this weight here :

/sw/fink/10.4/unstable/main/binary-darwin-i386/text 1,6Go
/sw/share     2,19Go
/sw/share/textmf-dist    1,48Go
/sw/share/textmf-dist/fonts : 831,2Go

Is this corect ? Is it normal?

All the best  : CI

You don't have to be root.

 to no avail:

apt-get is of little use on 10.6  since there isn't an official binary
distribution.  In any case, our binary distributions, when present are
generally older than the current/stable tree.

According to http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/root5, 5.22.00
is the current/unstable version, too.

You have the newest versions that are in the official distribution.

That's because that method of install is not supported.

Fink cannot be used to build an arbitrary package.  There has to be a
description for it which includes the name and version.

You might email the maintainer for root5 to ask about an update.  Or you
could try updating the package description yourself:
