No clue.  There's not enough context--we don't know what package is
complaining, what file it is, etc.  I'd recommend not bothering to check
the difference and just to take the version of the file that is on the
system.

The fact that you're getting the same message is actually a good thing.

(That's not a correct command, but it's not causing your problem:

update-all is fine, but fink ignores any arguments after that.

"-y" should go before "update-all" (and any other commands)

and to use the binary distribution, the right way to specify that is

"--use-binary-dist"

So you really want

fink -y --use-binary-dist update-all

And you don't really need --use-binary-dist, because that's turned on
automatically by default.  Plus, it doesn't do as much as you might
think, because it only uses the binary distribution if that has the
latest version of a package.)

It looks like you've got another Fink operation going on which is
waiting for your input, and that's locking the dpkg database out (like
