10.5/x86_64 was really intended more for developers without Snow Leopard to be able to do 64-bit builds than as a working distribution for end users. In any case, there's no system-perl package for 10.5/x86_64, because the system's perl for that OS version is only 32-bit. Something in coot's build chain (but not coot itself) wants system-perl, however. My intel box is currently tied up with work on 10.6, so I don't have access to 10.5/x86_64 right now. You might try installing individual packages from the list that "fink install coot" gives you, to see which one asks for system-perl and therefore could be potentially modifed. - -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk4zO+IACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ+GLQCfVXibLj2YGDV8pETjNf7z6WiC xwoAnjzuPMEG59831Yugdv2QTaGySn+g =zoBC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Got Input?
