I guess I could have been more explicit there. I really meant for you to download the same version of Xcode and install that (hence "reinstall"). Apple's installer sometimes leaves files our for reasons we haven't yet determined. What do you mean by "new OSX"? But, now > when I type: fink selfinstall, I get the following error: > > arch: /usr/bin/perl5.10.0 isn't executable > You never said what you were running originally but I assume you're on OS 10.7 now. We don't support upgrading a Fink tree in place between 10.6 and 10.7. You'll want to remove your Fink tree (e.g. via "sudo rm -rf /sw") and then install Fink again. - -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk6PohoACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ+4UQCfW3/pFq6Jx8OkX+TBfPT/EDec CwgAoJZKzcK2vneCeh/D6DFrGbaoePzT =iO+q -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
