Where I said "maybe" because I was doing other things and didn't want to
have to start my own db51 build to generate the config.log file.

It turns out that there are possibly two files to check:

$ find /sw/src/fink.build/db51-5.1.29-2/db-5.1.29.NC -name config.log
/sw/src/fink.build/db51-5.1.29-2/db-5.1.29.NC/build_unix/config.log
/sw/src/fink.build/db51-5.1.29-2/db-5.1.29.NC/build_unix/sql/config.log

Though you may have only one, since you had a configuration failure
