Hi Alexander,

I have changed the permissions as you suggested

> sudo chmod -R 755 /usr/local
> sudo chown -R root:wheel /usr/local

And the file compiled fine. I have the gerber viewer program running. It took a 
long time compiling, getting a stable configuration.
