Let's keep the discussion on the list, please, so that other folks can benefit. It's possible that the local tree isn't turned on for your Fink setup. You can check that via grep Trees /sw/etc/fink.conf I also just added libemf-1.0.4 back to the 10.6 distribution, and it should be available via "fink selfupdate" shortly.
