Please include the actual error message that you are getting from the gcc49 build. "phase compiling...failed" just means there was a failure. It appears as part of every report. Since you say there was also a notice about GMP, most likely you have a 3rd party install of GMP in /usr/local. Fink's gcc builds are set to fail if they find GMP in /usr/local to avoid other problems. If that's the case, move/rename /usr/local when building gcc. Also, don't recycle old message threads for new issues. This doesn't seem to have anything to do with libemf or pstoedit.
