I just upgraded my work computer with Xcode 7.0 from the AppStore, as usual.

I expected that I would also have the option of installing the command-line
tools from the AppStore, as I always had in the past, and as had happened on my
other two Mac laptops.

However, the option to install the command-line tools was not offered, so I’m
stuck with the prior version.

Fink does not like this and complains that there is a mis-match and that build
errors may occur.

So the question is, how can I force the AppStore to disgorge the the
command-line tools package? I just spent over an hour on a chat with Apple
without figuring it out, so thought this might be more productive.

Thanks!
