I agree. 

In fact I think we should drop support for 10.6 as well. This would leave us 
with a single arch (x86_64). Back in the days we supported only the 2 latest 
versions of the OS (10.7 and 10.8 for the time being). Given the resources we 
have in person-hours, I think we should stick to that rule.
