I did do my tests with -m, but I don't have vala installed by default, 
so I didn't see this failure.  I have now patched the lang-vala test and 
it works with vala installed (checked on 10.6* and 10.7).

Since the sole reason for the dpkg bump was to guarantee use of the new 
gettext and that's only really used for building the internal 
gettext-tools, there should be no problem to work around this problem 
temporarily by just taking the Futureproof/dpkg.info file and increasing 
its Revision to 1238.
