...be to rip out all of the Fink code related to downloading source
tarballs and make it portable to multiple platforms?
I ask because I have a Linux box on the net that is doing very little
[lite mail services, that's it] and I would like to be able to point about
a dozen isolated Fink installations at it as a Source Mirror. Ideally,
the Linux box could keep the mirror of tarballs up to date automatically.
(At the moment, I'm downloading everything on an OS X box and will rsync
it all to the Linux box periodically)
BTW: I just did a 'fink download-all'. There are a handful of packages
for which the source cannot be downloaded: ntop, cups, desklaunch.
